MAC Fest Encourages Art, Creativity in Stanwood-Camano

The Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission held its second annual MAC Fest over Labor Day weekend, with art classes, music, food and more.

SCAAC Programing Coordinator Emily Fekkes works on the event planning side of the event, and said leading up to the festivities that she was looking forward to its second run.

She explained that the conception of MAC fest came from a desire to show the community all that SCAAC offers in one fun-packed weekend.

“We do art classes and programming for youth, teens and adults,” she said.
