SCAAC Raises Funds Towards $13M Meyer Art Center Project

Board Member Carm Pierce .... explained why the location in Stanwood was chosen for an art center.

"It's strategically located in Stanwood as a visible and high traffic area that, looking forward to the future, we hope becomes an art district to highlight Stanwood, the greater community and regional arts community," Pierce said.

Pelletier + Schaar Architect David Pelletier is working with Meyer Art Center and Olson Kundig on the project.

He said Meyer Art Center is "poised and ready" to apply for permits with the City of Stanwood.
