Stanwood-Camano 5th Graders Afternoon of the Arts

After a successful first year, the Stanwood-Camano Arts Advocacy Commission’s “Afternoon of the Arts” program is back — this year bringing art classes to fifth graders in two Stanwood-Camano schools.

“The response we had last year from students, parents and our art teachers, and just community members that heard about it, was overwhelming in how great a program it was,” said Emily Fekkes, programming coordinator for SCAAC. “Having art education in the elementary school was so fantastic.”
